The Team at Sheppard’s were fully aware from the outset that the planning and Preparation stages of this Project were of key importance. The many Meetings held between ourselves, the Client and the Team at CO2 Architects prior to work commencing was pivotal in ensuring that the end Result of First Class Contemporary Holiday accommodation was realised. This was no ordinary project, the brief being to construct two Timber Frame Chalets, floating on Galvanised Steel Stilts, wrapping them in local Home-Grown Cedar and topping them off with a living Wild Flower Roof. The steep gradient of the Site also added a further challenge. The early stages mainly comprised of Ground Work, reducing levels, laying new drainage, digging out and concreting footings and fitting the steel stilts. It was then passed over to our Skilled team of Carpenters, who took it from base level right through to the 2nd fix stage. This Project certainly has the wow factor, from the Cedar clad stair case, Be-Spoke full Height Kitchen to the full width Grey Aluminium Frames, the highest standard of work was expected from all to ensure the finish is of the highest quality. The Exterior was then graced with full Landscaping, composite decking and wood Fire Hot Tubs.
